IAD online courses

The IAD has a number of online courses for PGRs. 

If you are a new student, you can join Getting Started with Postgraduate Research in October or February. This is a 3- week online course for all new PGRs.

Introduction to Research Ethics and Integrity is an online course which introduces key concepts of research ethics and integrity and provides an overview of the issues you need to consider.

Support for tutors and demonstrators

The IAD offers a range of support for tutors and demonstrators. This includes workshops, an online course 'Fundamentals of teaching' and support for accreditation.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition has run every year at Edinburgh since 2013. There is lots of information on the competition, how to enter and videos of previous competitions on the IAD webpages.
