Supporting and facilitating an active postgraduate research community is at the heart of the Doctoral College.

PGR student representation

The Doctoral College is working in partnership with Edinburgh University Students’ Association to strengthen PGR representation across the institution.

Your Doctoral College student representatives for 2023/24 are:

  • College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine: Natalia Penar
  • College of Science and Engineering: Sumetha Uthayakumar

There are many PGR societies and peer support groups at the University. A current list of these is maintained on the Doctoral College SharePoint.

Feedback

The University runs a number of regular surveys for postgraduate researchers. The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is a national survey run bi-annually.
